The video of the presentation of Unity on PlayStation VR2 at the GDC 2022 it ended up online, indeed to be precise, the video was already on YouTube but not in the list: someone revealed the address so that everyone could see it.
Released in the first quarter of 2023 by an insider, PlayStation VR2 represents the new generation of headsets for the virtual reality produced by Sony, and is a rather sophisticated device according to the official technical characteristics.
During the presentation at GDC 2022, we talked about how the experience offered by the viewer promises a great sense of involvement and presencegoing to increase the variety of sensations that we will be able to experience wearing it.
Visually we will be able to enjoy 4K HDR images with a 110-degree field of view, foveated rendering, resolution of 2000 x 2040 pixels per eye and frame rates optimized for refresh rates 90 to 120 Hz.
PlayStation VR2 will also include technologies such aseye-tracking and Sense Tech, able to adapt the game world to our reactions and thus create a strong sense of realism.
