AMD is preparing to release another low-end graphics card, the Radeon RX 6300. The unannounced device is mentioned in the changelog for the latest version of the AMD GPU Performance API.
Apparently, the Radeon RX 6300 will be an ultra-budget card, featuring even lower specifications than the Radeon RX 6400. Right now, the RX 6400 is only available to OEMs, but AMD may soon release the card for free sale.
There are no specs for the Radeon RX 6300 in the changelog. Most likely, VideoCardz believes, the card will be close to its mobile version, the Radeon RX 6300M, and will receive 2 gigabytes of GDDR6 memory with a 64-bit bus. Radeon RX 6400 is equipped with 4 gigabytes of memory.
This configuration means that the Radeon RX 6300 will be a plug for low-end office PCs. It is hardly worth counting on any acceptable gaming performance of the video card.
The Radeon RX 6400 is expected to go on sale on April 20th. Perhaps AMD will announce the Radeon RX 6300 at the same time.
