An authoritative insider under the nickname Ice Universe stated on the Chinese social network Weibo that Xiaomi will not release Xiaomi MIX 5 this year in order to focus on sales of the future Xiaomi MIX Fold 2.
According to an insider, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 will be the world’s first foldable phone with a 360° hinge, which means the device can be folded to either side.
In addition, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and an internal 2.5K high refresh rate foldable screen with LTPO technology.
Xiaomi is expected to introduce a new foldable smartphone in June.
