Unity 2021 LTS, the cross-platform game engine, was released this week and is now available for download and use. Published annually, the update offers two years of support, as well as bi-weekly updates to ensure you have all the latest fixes, tweaks, and improvements.
With the latest release of Unity 2021 LTS, the development team focused on four key areas: workflows, faster quality, graphical capabilities, and reaching new generations of players.
The Unity team has created a series of guides to help you move from Unity 2020 LTS or Unity 2019 LTS to Unity 2021 LTS. Unity 2020 LTS is now classified as a legacy release, although it will still receive monthly updates until it reaches the end of its support cycle sometime in mid-2023.
A supported update is scheduled for release in early June 2022.
