If, when switching from one Android smartphone to another, it is quite simple to connect two gadgets with cables or copy all applications, contacts, messages, photos and other materials using a wireless connection, then transferring the corresponding data from iPhone to Android is a rather non-trivial task that requires backups. to Google Drive and manual data recovery. In Android 12, the task is somewhat simplified, but only when using a Lightning-compatible cable.
In turn, Apple has long offered a convenient Move to iOS app in the Play Store, thanks to which you can easily transfer data from Android to iOS. The first data that Google is developing a special application for potential users of its OS appeared in July 2021.
The Switch to Android software is still a “secret” application – although it is available in the Apple App Store, it is not possible to find it by conventional means, access is provided only through a direct link. At 9to5google, the link was able to install the software on the iPhone and run it. The portal team has published a video with more detailed information about the application and working with it.
