Konami Digital Entertainment BV announces that “OBAKEIDORO!”, the popular action party game for Nintendo Switch, will be released for Steam under the new name “Bail or Jail”. Curious players can try Bail or Jail ahead of launch this year with a free demo starting May 11th. There is also a trailer ready:
Developed by FREE STYLE Inc. in partnership with Konami Digital Entertainment, “Bail or Jail” features asymmetrical multiplayer fun, dividing four players into two teams – humans versus the monster. Based on the popular children’s game Cops and Robbers, Team Humans spends three minutes trying to evade capture by the monster. If all three humans are caught within that time, the monster wins.
“Bail or Jail” offers a variety of spooky maps with interesting hiding places, likeable human characters and funny monsters with different abilities that keep the game entertaining from game to game. Players can develop new strategies and make their own settings with each round. With simple controls and fun characters, Bail or Jail is suitable for all ages. Everyone can dive right into the bizarre world and experience what the game offers.
“Bail or Jail” offers players five game modes – three online modes (“Quick Match”, “Friend Match” and “Join Friend”) and two offline modes (“Single Player” and “Local Multiplayer”). Under the new name, “Bail or Jail” now supports 1080p on-screen graphics and frame rates up to 144 FPS, allowing for smoother gameplay. In addition, players can connect to Discord in-game themselves and send invites to friends. Future updates to the game are already being planned and will deliver new maps, event modes and characters.
“Bail or Jail” will be available worldwide and will support 12 languages: Japanese, English, French, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian.
A free demo will be available prior to release for players to try Bail or Jail. Players will gain access to Quick Match mode, a map, and some character options. Further information on this will be available shortly.
