One More Games, founded by Blizzard veteran Patrick Wyatt, has announced its first game. It became a competitive action Spellcraftsharpened for PvP and collecting heroes.
Here is how the developers themselves describe the title:
Spellcraft is a fast-paced competitive game that requires strategic thinking and quick decision-making skills to achieve victory. It’s unlike any other game we’ve played, which is why we called it Real Time Tactics. You’ll have to take part in the Alpha Preview Event to find out what it really means, but we think we’ve created something new and exciting that you’ll love.
Spellcraft will be completely free, while the developers assure that they are not going to add harsh monetization or NFT to the game. According to them, the title “will be not only free, but also fair.”
You can apply for participation in the alpha test at official website.
As for Patrick Wyatt, he has been working in the gaming industry since 1992. During this time, he managed to participate in the creation of many early games from Blizzard, including being a producer and lead programmer of the first two parts of Warcraft. He also had a hand in Warcraft 3, Starcraft, DIablo and Diablo 2. In 2000, Wyatt founded the ArenaNet studio and developed Guild Wars, Aion and TERA.
