On the subreddit Marvel’s Avengers developer from Crystal Dynamics under the nickname CD_NickE commented dissatisfaction of the players about the lack of a roadmap for the title and at least some plan for further development.
It turned out that the roadmap, which was going to be shown at the end of 2021, no longer exists. Moreover, the studio does not have a clear plan to support Marvel’s Avengers for the next six months, as well as no strategy for what could theoretically appear in the future, although there were ideas before.
We have set a certain bar of expectations, which we are now forced to discard. The responsibility for this lies entirely with us.
The developer did not confirm or deny the cancellation of the roadmap, but said that Crystal Dynamics will continue to work on the game, releasing small updates much more often.
