Publisher Assemble Entertainment releases the new Early Access update “Age & Education” and the update trailer for the sci-fi survival city builder “Sphere – Flying Cities”. The construction game is developed by Hexagon Sphere Games from Hanover.
“Sphere – Flying Cities” is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi survival city builder set in a dystopian future. In this, the moon was completely destroyed by an asteroid – the remains fell down to earth and made the earth’s surface uninhabitable. Thanks to anti-gravity technology, the last survivors were able to save themselves in a research station, which is now floating in the earth’s atmosphere. This is the birth of the first flying city! As commander of the flying city, it is now the task of the players to extract resources from the earth’s atmosphere, keep an eye on the energy balance, conduct research and ensure the survival of the colony. Because similar to other big genre representatives like “Endzone – A World Apart” or “Frostpunk” there is a life-threatening danger for the entire colony lurking behind every corner in “Sphere – Flying Cities”.
The Age & Education update introduces new mechanics and buildings that bring even more life and depth to settler management. New characteristics for the settlers such as name, age, gender, life, death and education have been added. The education of the settlers also has an impact on the economy and can even boost it! In addition, new buildings such as the training center, the child care center and the energy storage facility have been added. Of course there are also many other improvements and bug fixes based on the valuable feedback from the “Sphere” community.
