Xiaomi is known for bringing to the market products theoretically below its usual cost price. And the Chinese manufacturer announced these days its new Xiaomi OLED Vision TV in India at a truly friendly price.
This is a truly cheap OLED Smart TV, and we’re talking about the recommended price. With 4K resolution and 55 inches, it reaches the Indian market for the equivalent of 1115 euros (89,999 rupees).
With a size of 55 inches, it’s what we can call the “standard” for a room where you can be about 3 meters from the TV. This one has a resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels, and is believed to have an LG WRGB panel (although this is not confirmed by the brand).
It can cover 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum, and it’s a native 10-bit panel. It has a fixed refresh rate of 60 Hz. An important detail is that it supports Dolby Vision IQ, adapting the brightness to the ambient light.
It has HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG. It has IMAX certification, so it follows various image and audio quality standards. Also noteworthy is the sound system with 8 30W drivers, and support for Dolby Atmos and DTS X.
You can expect 3 HDMI 2.1 ports, one of which supports eARC. You also have two USB ports, Ethernet, optical output and 3.5 mm jack input. Still in connectivity, you have Wi-Fi AC and Bluetooth 5.0.
Xiaomi OLED Vision TV has Chromecast and Google Assistant
It is powered by the MediaTek 9617 processor, and has 32GB of storage combined with 3GB of RAM. It has an Android TV 11 operating system, with Chromecast and Google Assistant included.
As mentioned above, the price is 1115 euros (or 89,999 rupees) in India, where it will be sold from 19 May. Xiaomi is now expected to bring it to global markets at an attractive price.
