Once you get hit back, the perception of the world changes once and for all.
About a week and a half ago, the Meta* company, which in Russia, at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office, was recognized as an extremist organization with all the ensuing consequences, promised that it would appeal this decision of the Russian court. Today, according to RBCthe company filed an appeal with the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow, from which it follows that Meta Platforms Inc. * does not agree with the decision.
How Meta* will appeal against this decision, especially given the fact that it not only failed to comply with the requirements of the Russian authorities, but also extended the permission to call for reprisals against Russian military personnel and senior government officials in its social networks, to put it mildly, is unclear.
Meta* itself considers its permission not a manifestation of extremism, but a way for the people of Ukraine to “let off steam”. Apparently, the company’s management does not know that freedom of speech ends where other people’s rights and freedoms begin.
