Richard Johnson of New York Daily News citing his sources, he said that Justin Lin left the director’s chair of the film “Furious 10” due to the inappropriate behavior of Vin Diesel.
Diesel is reportedly consistently late to set, forgets his lines, and is generally out of shape. One of the producers told Johnson that he had never seen this before.
It’s simply unheard of for Lin to turn down $10-20 million.
Representatives of Lin and Diesel declined to comment on this information. Earlier, the media wrote that Universal Pictures is losing from 600 thousand to a million dollars daily due to the downtime of filming Fast and the Furious 10. Lin left the tape a week after the start of work.
By the way, this is not the first conflict with Diesel on the set of Fast and Furious. Earlier, a similar story happened to Dwayne Johnson, who ultimately refused to return to the role of Hobbs in the tenth part.
Later media reportedthat Lin is likely to be replaced as director by Louis Leterrier, director of Illusion of Deception, Transporter 2, Clash of the Titans and Grimsby.
The tenth “Fast and the Furious” will be divided into two parts, which should be released in 2023 and 2024.
