The Sims 4 Twitter account hinted at some kind of reveal yesterday, but it turned out to be just a new game pack and two more packs, which has angered some fans.
Following yesterday’s cryptic tweet from the official Sims Twitter account, fans have quickly begun to speculate about what the May 4 secret announcement might be. Some of the speculation was about the release of The Sims 5, a new cyberpunk-themed expansion, and more.
But, unfortunately, as reported in today’s tweetit looks like developer Maxis might release another new game pack and two new sets instead.
If you’ve been wanting a new game pack and/or new bundles, then this is probably good news for you. However, some Sims fans were disappointed by the news, as it seems their hopes were too high for the announcement.
Neither EA nor Maxis have yet revealed what the new content is or when it will be released (apart from a May/June 2022 release), but judging by the vague trailer they posted, all signs point to some then additions that affect the nightlife.
If you go to the official Sims website, you’ll get a little more information. It looks like the new game pack is called Seize the Night and will give your Sims more activities to take part in during the late hours of the night.
The description on the site reads: “The fun starts at sundown. Whether you’re dressing up for a big date, creating memories in your backyard, or throwing some crazy stuff, you’ll be staying up late this season.”
