The Chinese company Vivo announced the Y55 4G smartphone running the FunTouch OS 12 operating system based on Android 12. The novelty, as reflected in the name, is designed to work in fourth-generation 4G/LTE mobile networks.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor is installed. This chip contains eight Kryo 265 computing cores with a clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz, an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X11 LTE modem.
The AMOLED display has a size of 6.44 inches diagonally and has a resolution of FHD + (1080 × 2404 pixels). The polling rate of the sensor layer reaches 180 Hz. A small waterdrop notch at the top of the screen houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The rear camera received a three-component configuration. This is a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel macro module and a 2-megapixel sensor for collecting information about the depth of the scene.
The smartphone has 8 GB of RAM, a flash drive with a capacity of 128 GB, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Power is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with support for 44-watt charging. The price is about 300 USD.
