Earlier this week, 343 Industries launched the second season of “Lone Wolves” in Halo Infinite multiplayer, which brings a bunch of new content to the shooter, including two new maps, Catalyst and Breaker. Of course, the game will get many more new battlefields in the future, and one of the leading developers from 343 Industries has hinted at what they could be.
In a recent interview on the Kinda Funny Games podcast, head of creative Joseph Staten (Joseph Staten), co-host Parris Lilly asked an interesting question. He wanted to know why 343 didn’t add classic maps from past Halo games to Halo Infinite as a “buffer” between new content. To which Staten, scratching his chin, replied: “That’s a good idea.” He then added that it would be great to play those cards again and made a note in his notebook.
While no direct confirmation has been made, the gesture hints that in the future, fans may be able to see some of their favorite cards from previous Halo titles return to Halo Infinite multiplayer.
