It became known that the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Russia has begun work on creating a single information repository GosData.hub, which will combine the flows of impersonal data from government agencies. The project is planned to be implemented in 2022-2024, and the trial operation of the service will begin in 2023. About it writes “Kommersant” with reference to information received from the press service of the department.

“First of all, we will launch analytics services for IT and communications. The state will motivate businesses to provide anonymized data in certain areas that are critical for the public administration system. The exchange of data will be two-way: depersonalized data from state datasets can also be used by businesses to develop their own solutions.”– the press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation quotes the words of the head of the department Maksut Shadayev.
According to available data, data depersonalization will be carried out by their provider. The datasets themselves will be transferred to the storage in an already depersonalized form. It is assumed that at the initial stage, data sets from the State Data Hub will be available to government agencies, and later the business will have the opportunity to use them. To implement this, a data market will be launched, which will become part of the national data management system.
