The developers from the studio EA Motive held another live broadcast dedicated to the remake of the cult horror dead space. During the broadcast, the creators announced the release date of the sci-fi horror – January 27, 2023.
Even on the stream, the developers talked about the visual component of the game: character and monster models, lighting, and well-developed environments. The studio did not use textures, objects and other assets from previous parts – everything was recreated from scratch.
In addition, the developers said that they put a lot of emphasis on the atmosphere of the game. Their goal is to achieve and increase the level of immersion that was inherent in the past parts of the series.
According to the latest information, a remake dead space has been in operation since summer 2020. Created entirely from scratch in the Frostbite engine under the direction of former Assassin’s Creed Valhalla development lead Eric Baptizat.
