The Pokémon Company has announced that theupdate 2.0.0 from Pokémon Homethanks to which it will be possible connect Pokémon Legends: Arceus and the Pokémon remakes Shining Diamond and Shining Pearl, which are added to Sword and Shield and Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee. It will therefore be possible to transfer your Pokémon to and from each of the compatible games.
From the post published on the official Pokémon website, we learn that Pokémon Home update 2.00 will introduce the Pokédex of each game in addition to the national one already present.
“After you have installed version 2.0.0, the Pokémon in your Pokémon HOME Boxes will be registered in the Pokédex of the respective game. Pokémon that are not in a Box during the installation of version 2.0.0, such as those that you exchanged, will not be registered. ”
Pokémon transferred to Pokémon Arceus Legends will be encased in a special Pokéball, called Strange Ball and the same goes for those sent by Arceus to Sword and Shield.
“Since Pokémon Legends: Arceus is set in the distant past of the Pokémon world, the Poké Balls found in the other games did not exist yet. For this reason, when Pokémon caught in Pokémon Shining Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Sword, or Pokémon Shield are transferred to Pokémon Legends: Arceus, they will be found in so-called Strange Balls. Similarly, Pokémon caught in Pokémon Legends: Arceus that are transferred to Pokémon Shining Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl will be found in Strange Balls. However, if they are transferred. in Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield, they will appear in regular Poké Balls. ”
To celebrate Pokémon Home update 2.0.0 and the new compatibility of Pokémon Legends Arceus, Shining Diamond, and Shining Pearl, players will receive as a gift from special Pokémon when game is connected to the application. In particular:
“When you deposit a Pokémon from Pokémon Shining Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl to the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon Home, you will receive a Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup with the special ability via Secret Gift in the mobile version of Pokémon Home. a Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: Arceus to the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon Home, you will receive a Rowlet, a Cyndaquil, and an Oshawott with maximum commitment level via Secret Gift in the mobile version of Pokémon Home. “
At the moment Pokémon Home Update 2.0.0 does not have one yet exit date precise, but it should arrive in a short time.
