Even eight months after its release, “Deathloop” is still being optimized. Further proof of this is the third update for the first-person shooter, which is now available.
The third update for “Deathloop” first of all adds a chic photo mode and Bethesda presents it to us with a trailer. In addition, there are now 30 more accessibility improvements and options.
About Deathloop
Deathloop is an innovative next-gen FPS from Arkane Lyon, the award-winning creators of Dishonored. In “Deathloop” two rival assassins on the island of Blackreef find themselves trapped in a time warp, a loop, doomed to relive the same day over and over again into eternity. You slip into the role of Colt. Your goal: to break the loop. To do this, you must eliminate eight targets before the clock resets. Learn from each circuit – try new paths, gather intel, and acquire new weapons and abilities.
IF YOU FAIL AGAIN AND AGAIN… DIE UNTIL YOU WIN.
Each loop presents a new opportunity: use the knowledge gained from previous loops to customize your approach – whether you rely on stealth and sneak through a level or charge into battle, guns drawn and unleash pure chaos. You have an arsenal of supernatural powers and deadly weapons at your disposal to remove your opponents from the equation in style. Use this arsenal as cleverly as possible to avoid becoming the hunted from the hunter.
SINGLE PLAYER GAMEPLAY WITH A DOSE OF DEADLY MULTIPLAYER
Do you prefer to be the protagonist or the antagonist? You experience the campaign as Colt, who must eliminate eight targets on Blackreef in order to break the loop and gain his freedom. However, in the meantime Julianna is breathing down your neck. Other players have the opportunity to take on the role of this adversary to invade your game and stop you from getting closer to your goal. This multiplayer experience is of course completely optional. In single player, Julianna can be controlled by the AI as usual without any problems.
BLACKREEF – PARADISE OR PRISON?
paradise or prison? Arkane has made a name for itself with its immersive, breathtakingly artistic worlds and the ability to solve problems in different ways. Deathloop’s stunning 1960s-inspired retro-future world is bursting with life and character. But as much as Blackreef is a paradise for the eyes – for Colt this island is still like a prison. In this world where decadence reigns supreme and death is irrelevant, Colt is on the hit list of a perpetually reveling, morally reprehensible mob who won’t let their party spoil at all costs.
