Together with the new public beta versions of iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5, a pre-release test build of macOS Monterey 12.4 has been released for everyone.
According to the release notes, the Universal Control feature in iPadOS 15.5 and macOS Monterey 12.4 is not compatible with devices running macOS 12.3 and iPadOS 15.4, so Apple encourages users to install the new beta versions on both iPad and Mac.
It is expected that the final release of new versions of the Apple OS will take place before the end of May.
