With the new builds of macOS Monterey 12.4 RC and iPadOS 15.5 RC, Apple has completed testing the Universal Control feature and removed it from beta status.
Users of pre-release builds have noticed that the feature is no longer listed as “beta” in the settings.
Recall that the Universal Control feature became available to all owners of compatible iPads and Macs in March with the release of macOS Monterey 12.3 and iPadOS 15.4, but since launch it has been in beta status. Apparently, Apple has eliminated all the bugs and other problems in the operation of this function.
