For fans of World War II-themed strategy shooter Hell Let Loose, Black Matter, and Team17, the experience is a bit better on PC than on console. There are more maps, more factions, and more weapons to play with, making the offensive on the battlefield just a little bit better. But next week, the developer plans to take another step closer to full parity with PC by releasing the game’s first major update to consoles.
The Hell Let Loose Console Update will introduce a host of new content to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players for the first time. Starting with the long-awaited Soviet update (which PC players received in July 2021), new maps, weapons, roles, abilities and vehicles, this patch will add many features to the game that have been exclusive to PC for several months now.
This means that players will be able to launch offensives in Stalingrad, Kursk, etc. using weapons such as PPSh-41, DP-27, M97 Trench Gun when the free update is released on both platforms on Tuesday, May 17, 16:00 Moscow time
