According to insider Dusk Golem, Konami has decided to bring the Silent Hill series out of its long slumber and take it seriously, with “three and a half” games in the series currently in development.
According to Dusk Golem, Konami decided to revise their plans from 2018, when they, according to Dusk Golem, wanted to develop only two new games in the series. Now they are engaged in “three and a half” games. What exactly Dusk Golem means by this is unknown. Perhaps we are talking about three full-fledged games and one small game like PT, which will be associated with one of these three games? Wait and see. Roughly the same information is shared by an employee of the Video Games Chronicles website, who claimed last year that Konami is involved in at least three games from the Silent Hill series, which are made by different studios.
On top of that, Dusk Golem says that Konami has taken the development of the series in earnest and now there is “a lot” going on with it. Most of the projects they are currently working on are pretty far advanced in development.
Recently, Dusk Golem leaked screenshots and art of the new Silent Hill game online, for which his account received a complaint from Konami for copyright infringement.
