Samsung has just opened pre-orders for its new Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 tablet. An entry that stands out for being silent, since the launch had no associated promotion campaign.
The tablet is an improved version of the previous model and arrives in a variant equal to the Apple iPad and with the same price of 400 euros.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 available in select markets
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 is now available for pre-order on Amazon Italy
Behold, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 makes its entry into the European market, but without pomp and circumstance. This is, by the way, one of the most “silent” releases of the South Korean giant that did not associate any campaign with the equipment to give it all the visibility it deserves.
We do not know the reason that led Samsung to opt for this strategy, but for now the new tablet is only available in some selected markets, as is the case of Italy, which makes the equipment available through the Amazon online store.
But let’s get to the technical specifications. Galaxy Tab S6 Lite version 2022 even runs Android 12 operating system with One UI 4.0. As it is an improved version of the previous model that runs Android 10, it was expected.
Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 specs put it as a direct competitor to Apple’s iPad
Another novelty is that the new Tab S6 is equipped with the Snapdragon 720 G processor, unlike the predecessor that was powered by the Exynos 9611 chip. For now, the available variant includes 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, the that puts it as a direct rival of the base iPad that has the same storage capacity, but with 3 GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2022 also has a 10.4-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels, in addition to supporting the brand’s S Pen. It should be noted that it includes an entry for microSD cards, which is quite useful for expanding the storage to 64 GB, and it comes with two speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.
For the rest, it is powered by a 7,040 mAh battery and may in the near future gain a variant with 128 GB. Perhaps Samsung’s silence on this launch is related to the fact that it has not put all the variants designed for this equipment on the market.
