After the mod dedicated to Superman and the one starring Spider-Man, it is now the turn of The Batman on Unreal Engine 5: the Dark Knight fights on video in the latest, surprising project by an independent developer.
The architect of this work is JSFILMZ, a content creator who drew on the content packs of the Unreal Engine 5 demo of The Matrix Awakens to reconstruct the playable prototype of an action adventure experience focused on the hero of the latest Hollywood blockbuster starring Robert Pattinson.
In the youtuber’s tech demo, the Dark Knight wanders the streets of the virtual Manhattan of The Matrix in search of criminals to “pacify” with choreographed kicks and punches. Using MetaHuman and other content packs, the amateur developer was able to recreate the face (or rather, the jaw) of Pattinson himself and give the character extremely fluid and realistic animations, complete with cloak with accurate physics.
