According to insider Jeff Grubb, the new part of the Silent Hill series could be exclusive to the PlayStation 5 console.
In response to a fan’s question about PS5 exclusivity, Jeff Grubb replied that there is a good chance the game will indeed become a PS5 exclusive. However, whether we are talking about full exclusivity (when the game is released only on one console and never on any other platform), console exclusivity (when the game is released only on one console and PC), or temporary console exclusivity (when the game is only released on on some one console and PC, and after a certain period of time visits another console) – unknown.
Grubb also suggested yesterday that the Bloober Team (the developers of Layers of Fear and The Medium), with which Konami signed a collaboration last summer, might be working on a remake of Silent Hill 2. However, he does not believe this information himself and called on all sites that will quote his words, not treat it as 100 percent true.
Screenshots and art of the new Silent Hill leaked online yesterday. According to Dusk Golem, who provided these screenshots and art and subsequently got his account banned at the request of Konami, this is not the only Silent Hill game in development.
