B8 was registered in Eastern European DPC qualification under Russian flag.
The team plays in open qualifiers for the lower division of the DPC Eastern Europe.
B8 reacted to this on Twitter:
“We registered the team for qualification, but we were in for a surprise. Unexpectedly, we were given the wrong flag. We did our best to resolve the situation, but could not change it.
We have to finish the qualification as it is. B8 is a European esports club from Ukraine,” the club tweeted.
The DPC Lower Division will take place from May 19 to May 22. Eight teams will compete for $75,000 and two slots in the top division.
