We are halfway through the month and with the free PlayStation Plus games of May already available for almost two weeks, it came naturally to us to think about the future to do some speculation and prediction on the free titles of June.
June will be a very important month, since it will see the debut of the new PlayStation Plus with the three different subscription plans, namely Essential, Extra And Premium. The service will incorporate PlayStation Now and will offer many benefits to those who choose to buy the most expensive tiers, but the base will remain the same and free games will continue to be made available as always on a monthly basis for all subscribers.
So, returning to us, what can we expect? Making predictions and speculations is always very difficult, also because there are no rumors in circulation. The leaks, for their part, always occur a few days after the announcement, so today we are well ahead of the times. However, we do know that Sony likes to offer games on day one from time to time, so looking at the calendar we noticed that the June 7, 2022 (the day when the new free games will be made available) Spellforce 3 Reforced, an updated version of the strategic role-playing game for PS4 and PS5, will be launched on the market. Also considering Sony’s love of updated editions (see Overcooked All You Can Eat in September 2021, Godfall: Challenger Edition in December 2021 and many others), Spellforce 3 Reforced it seems like a good gamble.
We would also like to see it too a new PlayStation exclusive for free: not seen for a long time (the latest was Destruction AllStar in February last year, while Ghost of Tsushima Legends is just a piece of a much bigger exclusive), also with PlayStation 5 on the market for over a year and a half times appear more mature. For this reason we focus on Sackboy: A Great Adventurelaunched in November on PlayStation 4 and PS5 to accompany the launch of the next-gen console.
