It almost seems a coincidence (and it really could be … or maybe not) but after the Silent Hill leaks by Dusk Golem, Abandoned also returns to talk thanks also in this case to a series of material stolen and shared on the net.
In particular, among the stolen material we find a short video with an animation, part of the script and the screenshot of a brick wall. The leak was also commented by the insider Shpeshal Nick, who noted atmospheres similar to those of Blair Witch, however Nick cannot confirm whether the assets in question are authentic or not.
The latest updates on the Blue Box game date back to April when Hasan confirmed Abandoned’s development problems mainly due to the lack of experience of the teamwhich to date has only worked on small independent projects, where Abandoned appears to be a more ambitious game than the studio’s previous works.
The Abandoned prologue will be paid and will lay the foundation for what will be the full experience, apart from this, however, we still know very little about the project and Abandoned remains a real mystery. Will we see it in action again over the summer? At the moment no certainty about it.
