Official sales figures only recently made it clear how successful the blockbuster Elden Ring is on the road worldwide. Another milestone was recently reached in Germany as well.
As confirmed by game, the association of the German games industry, three titles received coveted game sales awards in April – and one of them is the action epic Elden Ring by From Software. This continues to be in great demand in the local area and has cracked the next sales mark.
All in Germany, more than 500,000 copies of the game have now been sold, which brings the open-world action RPG by Hidetaka Miyazaki and author George RR Martin the game Sales Award Special Prize in the highest category.
Shortly after the release, however, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is also successfully on the road in Germany. The title has become the world’s fastest-selling LEGO video game, and this is also evident in Germany: since the beginning of April, more than 200,000 copies have been sold over the counter, which is enough for the game Sales Award in platinum.
Finally, there is the cute Kirby from Nintendo, whose latest adventure was released for the switch at the end of March. Kirby and the forgotten country is well received there, which is reflected in more than 100,000 sales in Germany and thus the game Sales Award in gold. Congratulations to all the winners along the way!
In the sixth part of the Elden Ring diary, Felix does reasonably well and fights his way through the world of Elden Ring quite successfully.
