The formula for pumping a hero in Dying Light has confidently migrated to the second part. You start the game with a relatively weak character and level it up as you progress. About it spoke out Dying Light 2 game designer Timon Smektala.
According to him, he would like the protagonist of the next part, if it comes out, to be stronger than the previous protagonists from the very beginning:
If we do Dying Light 3, then I would like the main character to start with more powerful and better starting skills. In the second part, we used the same approach when the player started with a weak hero. This is what I would like to fix in the third part, if we take it.
Will it ever come out Dying Light 3is unknown, but given the good ratings of the second part and solid sales, the issue will not be resolved for a long time.
Dying Light 2 is available on all current platforms and will continue to be supported for several more years.
