Sony seems a new edition of his State of Play webshow to plan. The publisher himself has not yet given a date for a new show. However, the usually well-informed insider and journalist Jeff Grubb claims to have learned from “several sources” that a new Stream in the first week of June should be planned. He could not confirm the targeted period for the upcoming show. However, the fact that “several sources” assume a new State of Play edition in early June is at least a sign that PlayStation players apparently do not have to wait much longer for game news from Sony.
New State of Play with Modern Warfare 2?
Whether Sony will use an upcoming State of Play edition to, for example Spider-Man 2 or God of War Ragnarok to show remains to be seen. As a potential Grubb, on the other hand, sees Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as a candidate: The first-person shooter planned for this year could be part of the next State of Play show. First-person shooter expert Tom Henderson recently reported that the new Call of Duty part should be presented “sometime in June”. the leaker”TheGhostOfHope” meanwhile announced June 2nd as Reveal Day on Twitter. That would at least match the speculation about the date of the new State of Play edition.
Henderson reported that for the Modern Warfare 2 announcement, the Campaign of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is in focus. Fans can therefore be prepared for a trailer and first information. In the course of June, on the other hand, another preview of the new first-person shooter is planned – with detailed gameplay from the campaign. A presentation at the Summer Game Fest on June 9 would also be conceivable. The multiplayer mode will probably be shown later.
