While F1 22 is rich in content and game options, Electronic Arts And Codemasters have already confirmed that the new episode of the Formula 1 series will not offer one Story modeleaving a certain bitterness in the mouth of all the players who hoped instead in his presence
A Story Mode was featured in F1 2021titled Breaking Point, but for the next iteration of the brand it was decided to exclude its return. A definitive farewell or there is the possibility of an inclusion in the same F1 22 through DLC or in an eventual F1 23? To partially clarify the doubts is the creative director Lee Mather during an interview with the portal Gamingbolt.
“Our F1 2021 Breaking Point story mode has been a great success for both old and new players, and we will continue to work on this feature. However it is not part of our immediate plans due to our teams’ internal two-year development cycle“, explained Mather, trying however to reassure the public:”Rest assured, it will come back in the future“.
The words of the creative director suggest that a new Breaking Point will not be made for F1 22, at the same time, however, the inclusion of the story in a future iteration of the brand is not excluded. For now, however, we must put our hopes in the drawer and focus on what the next episode will actually offer: for more details, therefore, do not miss our preview of F1 22.
Codemasters also confirmed that F1 22 will not support PlayStation VR, and there are no plans to roll it out in the months following launch.
