Less than a year after the launch of Deathloop, Arkane Studios may have already been working to expand the peculiar narrative universe that arrived on PC and PlayStation 5 last September. This, at least, is what a post published by Jason E. Kelley, character who took on the role of Colt Vahn within the action game.
As you can see through the Twitter post that we reported at the bottom of the news, Kelley is back in the recording room to work on a new videogame project. A detail that immediately catches the eye are the tags related to Deathloop and Colt Vahnwhich understandably generated excitement among Arkane game fans.
Someone asked if it was a DLC dedicated to Deathloop, given the clear references to the game in the tags used by the actor and voice actor. Kelley, however, ruled out this hypothesis by clearly specifying that it is a completely new game. It would seem too early for a real Deathloop sequel, yet the actor’s references to the latest effort baked by the French developers are quite evident.
As noted by some users on reddit who know Arkane’s work well, Deathloop contains some easter eggs that seem to connect the narrative universe with that of Dishonored, and therefore it cannot be ruled out that Kelley’s work is somehow tied to the studio’s action-stealth franchise (Arkane never commented on it). In short, there are many hypotheses and few certainties: to find out more about this mysterious project, we just have to wait confidently for an official announcement.
