From June 6th to June 10th, Netflix plans to rock it as part of Geeked Week and this could be very interesting for video game fans, because some new series will be shown.
Netflix Geeked Week ’22 is a five-day, virtual fan event during which the streaming service wants to present a number of innovations. For five days everything revolves around series, films, animation, games and above all the upcoming start of the new season of Stranger Things. Over 60 projects are set to be featured including The Sandman, The Umbrella Academy, Manifest, The Gray Man, Alice in Borderland, Day Shift and more. The subject of Netflix games should also play a role.
But it is also interesting that some series about video games will appear. Among other things, Resident Evil and Cuphead are mentioned. Also making its debut is Cyberpunk Edgerunners, an anime series set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe that has been under the wing of Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare) in collaboration with CD Projekt Red and has been in the works since 2018.
