In the Rocky Mountains, between the national parks of Yellowstone and Glacier, lies the historic mining town of Butte. Formerly nicknamed “The Richest Hill on Earth,” this city once prospered from industrial activity in the 1800s due to its abundance of minerals.
Although many of the 18th century mines are no longer in operation, many of the old mining towers still stand in the city as a reminder of the past. Each of them is unique and even has its own name! Downtown Butte is rich with monuments and architectural buildings from the past, which our team has recreated for our upcoming Montana expansion for American Truck Simulator.
Drivers visiting Butte can find several businesses for roundtrip delivery, including an electrical grid service and an electrical substation. One unique industry player that carriers will be able to work with is the Port of Montana, located near Butte.
The Port of Montana is an industrial transshipment, distribution and storage facility with convenient rail and road access that directly benefits businesses across the region. It also includes the unique 1:1 crafted Silene Gas Factory!
With so many reasons to visit Butte, we hope you take a moment to stop by and admire all it has to offer.
