The Honor brand has announced an updated model of the MagicBook 14 laptop. It received a 14-inch screen with a 3:2 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2160 × 1440 pixels. Claimed peak brightness of 300 nits, contrast ratio of 1500 : 1 and 100% coverage of the sRGB color space.
Like previous versions of MagicBook 14, the novelty received a thin and light aluminum body. With a thickness of 15.9 mm, the device weighs only 1.54 kg.
With such dimensions, it has an impressive cooling system based on two fans, two heat pipes and a radiator with an area increased by 66%. Compared to the previous model, the airflow is increased by 35%.
An Intel Core i5-12500H or Intel Core i7-12650H chip can be installed inside. The amount of RAM type LPDDR5 reaches 16 GB, and the internal memory on the SSD is available up to 512 GB. Some configurations will have discrete graphics – NVIDIA RTX2050 or NVIDIA MX550.
A 75 Wh battery and new OS Turbo technology that optimizes power consumption allow you to count on 20 hours of battery life. Comes with a 100W charger.
MagicBook 14 runs on Windows 11 with a package of proprietary services and tools Magic OS (for a smart home and convenient use of Honor ecosystem devices).
Also worth noting is the traditional retractable webcam, backlit keyboard, fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 adapters, NFC chip, stereo speakers, HDMI output, and USB 3.2 and USB-C ports.
In China, the new Honor MagicBook 14 will cost from 4,999 yuan (≈47,500 rubles).
