This is reported by the Bulletin of the Film Distributor, citing a letter from the department.
The Ministry requested additional justifications for the allocation of budgetary funds. The authorities stressed that the resources of the federal budget are being redistributed to the priority tasks of the economy against the backdrop of the imposition of sanctions.
In addition, the Ministry of Finance did not support other proposals of cinema owners, including a reduction in the rate of insurance premiums from the salaries of film industry employees.
Previously, the Association of Cinema Owners predicted the closure of half of the cinemas within two months in the absence of support from the state.
