After announcing Greedfall 2 The Dying World, the Spiders and NACON studios project us back into the smoky alleys of the Steampunk Paris by Steelrising to show us a Story Trailer describing the horrors committed by King Louis XVI’s mad automatons.
The videogame ucronia shaped by the French developers of Technomancer and the aforementioned Greedfall will remain in the field of action-role experiences of the company’s previous IPs, while promising to evolve the combat mechanics and the progression of the story to adhere to the canons of the soulslike.
The new cinematic film packaged by the Spiders studios, however, focuses on the events of the principle campaign and the riots unleashed in this parallel version of the French Revolution which sees King Louis XVI firmly in command of his nation thanks to an army of sentient automatons. Unlike the other bloodthirsty puppets who will sow terror on the streets of Paris, the automaton we will interpret will have its own conscience that will push it to embrace the revolutionary cause.
The fierce confrontation between the Aegis warrior and the mechanical monsters of ceramic and steel in defense of the crown of France is expected toSeptember 8just in time for Steelrising to launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
