Right, there was something, at some point Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown should appear. Well, at least there’s some sign of life from the game, but that’s not all good news.
Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown was somehow no longer on our radar, although the racer was supposed to be released in September 2022. After a long period of silence around the game, there is at least one sign of life again.
The news is mixed, however, as one of them immediately includes what is typical at the moment: a postponement. Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown will only be released in 2023, without a more specific date.
Something else has also happened, because in order to get the most out of the game (technically at least), Nacon has decided to cancel the versions for PS4 and Xbox One. So the game will “only” appear for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Otherwise there are at least some details. The two factions of Hong Kong Island, the Streets and the Sharps, are said to have their own headquarters, with the Streets being more rustic while the Sharps live in luxury.
Nacon is also working on a closed beta phase in which player feedback will be collected for optimization purposes.
There is a new trailer for the new Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown from KT Games and NACON, which aims to bring you closer to the game world and vehicles.
