IO Interactive has announced that the PC version of Hitman 3 will support ray tracing effects on May 24th. The company will use ray tracing to improve reflections and shadows in the game. In addition, IO Interactive will add support for NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR 1.0.
Since the game does not support Global Illumination or Ambient Occlusion ray tracing, it’s safe to say that these ray tracing effects will not bring significant visual enhancements. Of course, there will be more shadows and better reflections. However, these are the least impressive ray tracing effects that developers can apply to their games.
IO Interactive also announced the official requirements for the ray-traced PC game, which you can check out below.
