The release is planned for PC and Nintendo Switch.
Publishing house Dontnod and developers from PortaPlay studio announced the exact release date for Gerda: A Flame in Winter, a story-driven RPG set during World War II. The project will appear on PC and Nintendo Switch on September 1 this year.
Gerda: A Flame in Winter tells the story of Gerda Larsen, a rural nurse. The action itself takes place in Denmark in February 1945.
“You live a quiet life with your husband Anders despite the war. One day you are returning home from work, cycling through a heavy snowstorm. You notice blood at the entrance to your house and soon find that Anders has been arrested by the Gestapo. He left you important documents of the Resistance, and the lives of many Danes and Germans depend on your next actions. What are you going to do?” – says the official description for the game.
