On the eve of the imminent release of a major update for the Russian version of MMORPG Lost Ark, MY.GAMES has shared new details about faction battles. This is a new format of battles between players, which will be available after completing the Rowena storyline.
The confrontation will take place between representatives of two factions, Freigel and Libertan, at the Great Plains location. It is worth considering that by choosing a side, all Legacy characters who have completed the Rowena storyline will also join it. But at any time, the player will be able to change sides, while all the experience and earned rank is saved. The first time you can do this without any restrictions, but the second and subsequent – 7 days after entry.
Experience to increase the rank can be accumulated in two ways: take part in events on the Great Plains or defeat the fighters of the opposite faction. In a future update, Rowena’s battlefield will appear, and it will also be possible to earn experience points there. As a reward for rank and activity, players can receive various rewards, including items for tempering equipment and completing the Seeker’s Atlas.
In addition to the ongoing faction battles, the Great Plains is also famous for Helmir, the new world boss in the form of a two-headed monster. Players with 1490 GS level will be able to fight him.
Also on the main square of Eldegat, there will be a magic stone that will allow players to get protection from enemy attacks for 20 minutes in the lands of Rowena. To use it, you must first complete the “Magic Stone” quest.
The release of the update “Rowen” with a new region, faction battles and other innovations will take place next week, May 25th.
