The developers of One Piece Odyssey have shared new images on the official website that allow you to see some details of the turn-based combat system of this new jRPG adventure.
The images are in Japanese, so we cannot know exactly what is written in each text. However, we can admire the images both to enjoy the high-quality cel-shaded graphics and to notice some details of the gameplay. For example, we see that several team members can participate in a battle. In the examples given, there are four different active members. We can also notice aesthetic decisions, such as the fact that the icon for the character on duty is multi-colored, while the icon for waiting characters is monochrome.
In the One Piece Odyssey image for Zoro, we also see what looks like a skill menu, with a series of moves that cost TP. You can see the TP icon above each character’s life on the left. The images also suggest that attacks, or at least special attacks, will be accompanied by cinematic cutscenes, as is the case with Luffy being shot.
