The MMORPG New World development team has released another monthly video dedicated to game updates. This time, the developers talked about 3v3 PvP arenas, mutators in The Depths, the continuation of the Varangian Knights story content, and some things we can expect in June.
The developers decided to start with 3v3 PvP arenas, which is one of the ways Amazon allows players who don’t have much free time to take part in PvP activities. Players who queue less than three will be matched within the level range associated with the highest level player (so don’t be level 25 and group with someone level 60 if you want to) win). Participating in arena battles will allow players to earn experience and a new PvP currency.
Mutators will appear in The Depths, which will be applied cyclically. Overgrown, which focuses on nature damage and resistances. Barbaric focuses on physical damage. The last new curse, Fiendish, will be “focused on the night”. The team is focusing on the potential of Mutators as a challenge and content that will make players enjoy strategy.
There won’t be a big content update in New World in June, but there will be updates, fixes, and community events. These include XP Extravaganza, which will provide room for development and perhaps even be a good time to create new alts.
