Xiaomi 12 Ultra rear camera design refers to Huawei terminals
Porsche Design protective cover confirms the Xiaomi 12 Ultra’s camera setup in circular ilga
Now that Qualcomm has announced the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chip, several smartphone manufacturers are expected to launch their new top models equipped with this processor.
Xiaomi is among them and is expected to present the long-awaited Xiaomi 12 Ultra next June. Many revelations have already been made, but the Chinese brand has not yet confirmed any and has not yet started to promote the terminal on social networks, as is its habit.
That’s why we continue in the field of rumors and the latest shows a luxury cover by Porsche Design for the next Xiaomi smartphone. The protective cover, when placed on the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, immediately refers to Huawei’s terminals, from the time when it lived in glorious times of success and was exempt from the sanctions it is now subject to.
But more importantly, the accessory confirms that the terminal’s rear camera configuration is housed in a circular island with seven cutouts that will include the top sensors of this photography-oriented model.
The same cover also suggests that this will be the final design of the new terminal, as accessory manufacturers have already had access to the finished model. If this information is confirmed, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will distinguish itself from all the other models in the series that have rear camera configurations in a format completely opposite to this one.
Expected specs on Xiaomi 12 Ultra
However, several rumors have already revealed the specifications that we can expect to see on the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. As we have already mentioned, the terminal will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chip paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage.
It will also have a 6.73-inch screen with a resolution of 2K and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Powering the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be a 4,900 mAh battery with support for 120 watt fast charging.
But one of the strongest arguments of the new Xiaomi 12 Ultra will undoubtedly be its optics. The triple rear camera setup will feature the 50 megapixel Sony IMX989 sensor. It should be noted that this sensor provides faster autofocus, optimized image stabilization and better performance in low light conditions.
The remaining sensors will be an ultrawide with 48 megapixels of resolution and a telephoto sensor also with 48 megapixels and 120x digital zoom. The front camera will have 32 megapixels of resolution.
For the rest, it is expected to hit the market at a cost between 850 euros for the base version and 1,040 euros for the variant with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
