A schematic of the ASUS Prime X670 motherboard has appeared on the network, which should be announced tomorrow at Computex 2022. The leak was published on Baidu and shows a motherboard with four DDR5 RAM slots as well as 14 power phases next to an AM5 socket. But the most interesting part of the circuit is the presence of two chipsets
This confirms the information that the X670 chipset consists of two chips, as previously reported by insiders. Together with this motherboard ASUS intends to announce ProArt X670E-CREATOR WIFI and ProArt B650-CREATOR. The lack of mention of the X670E chipset on PRIME series motherboards may mean that the PCIe 5.0 lanes on them will be available only for video cards or only for m.2 SSDs. Recall that the X670E is required to support a new generation of PCIe for both types of devices at the same time.
