Company Riot Games released a short cinematic dedicated to the new champion League of Legends. It turned out to be Bel’Vet, the mistress of the Abyss, who is determined to destroy Runeterra and rebuild the world in her own image.
The mysterious winged figure has appeared in the game several times throughout almost ten years. The silhouette of the Empress of the Abyss flickered in the skill animation of Victor with the Shaper skin, released in 2013. But Riot Games has never commented on this appearance. Official details about Bel’Vet’s combat skills have not yet been released, but from leaks knownthat the Empress would be a forester-duelist. She is credited with forming a swarm with the skills of vampirism, the ability to attract enemies to her and burrow into the ground, passing through walls. And her reincarnation will supposedly heal and strengthen the heroine.
There is no word yet on when the Empress of the Abyss will appear in the game.
