SEGA has posted several job openings at Creative Assembly, the studio behind Alien: Isolation and the Total War series. Their description states that candidates will work to create “unforgettable gaming experiences in a new project.” It is also mentioned that this game will be based on a new franchise and on the Unreal Engine 5 game engine.
Unfortunately, the description of these vacancies no longer contains any details about the mysterious project. But most likely, this game on the new IP may well be a sci-fi first-person shooter, the first mention of which appeared even in 2018.
Although about 4 years have passed since then, but open vacancies, such as senior gameplay designer and project technical director, indicate that the game is still in the early stages of development. Therefore, it is unlikely that this shooter will be presented in the near future.
