Corsair will soon introduce its first laptop. And this laptop will be based on the AMD platform. The companies are collaborating under the AMD Advantage program, which involves the use of a Ryzen processor and Radeon graphics. The Corsair Voyager a1600 laptop was shown as part of AMD’s presentation at Computex.
This is a gaming laptop aimed at streamers. Equipped with a 16-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a frequency of 240 Hz. Options will be available with AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS and Ryzen 9 6900HS processors, which work in 16 threads. In both cases, the top mobile video card Radeon 6800M is used. Up to 64 GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM is provided. There are two places for fast NVMe PCI-E 4.0 drives. The cooling system will use an evaporation chamber and two fans.
The laptop will receive large sound speakers with a diameter of 20 mm and a webcam with support for 1080p. The device will feature two USB4 ports with Thunderbolt 3, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, and an SDXC 7.0 card reader.
The keyboard is built on Cherry MX switches with low key travel. There is a mandatory RGB backlight.
The laptop is made in the original strict design. It is worth noting the large touchpad touchpad. There is also an additional information panel below the screen.
